Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Maple View Lodge, Athens on Wednesday April 16, 2008. Sally Soper of Elgin in her 83rd year. Widow of Rupert Halladay. Dear Mother of Myrla ( Ian) Grant of Mallorytown, Cheryl Colford of Lyndhurst. Predeceased by sisters, Gladys and Pearl Haskin and Molly Patterson as well as brothers, Ed and Lewis Soper. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Melanie (Shane Granger) Chisamore, Amber (Geoff Scott) Chisamore, Zachary and Alexander Colford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Monday from 7-9. A Graveside Service will be held at Robertson Cemetery, Delta on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation-Cancer Centre or Maple View Lodge, Athens would be appreciated by the family.
