Peacefully at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Sunday January 7, 2018. Gertrude Andrews, formerly of R.R. # 3, Elgin (Little California), in her 92nd year. Widow of Gordon Simpson. Dear mother of Richard of Merrickville, Norm of Kingston, Roger (Cheryl) of Delta and Eleanor (Shawn) McLellan of Newboro. Predeceased by son, Herb and brothers; Hales and John Andrews. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Brad, Krista, Jesse, Joel, Michael, Derek and Caitlin as well as 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law, Gail Lynch and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday from 11 o'clock until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment Lillies Baptist Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to the Heart &Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
