Peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital (Smiths Falls Site) on Monday January 29, 2018. Gord Baker of Portland, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Bernice Gifford. Dear father of Barry (Terri Ann), Brenda (Michael), Allan (Debra) and Anne (Roger). Predeceased by an infant daughter as well as his parents, Hilda and Delbert (Ted) Baker. Fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday from 5-8. Memorial Service in Our Chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Inurnment, Harlem Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
