Peacefully at Broadview Nursing Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday April 14, 2018. Margaret Wieferink of Elgin, in 99th year. Widow of Harold Hudson. Dear mother of Robert (Jeanne) Hudson of Napanee and Anne (Jim) O'Meara of Elgin. Dear sister of Jo Van Dorst of Holland. Predeceased by her parents, Berend and Dina Wieferink, sister; Beta Van der Sluis and brothers; Johan Wieferink and Broer Wieferink. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; David (Cathy), Bryan (Julia), Ian (Melanie), Paul and Christy as well as great-grandchildren; Quinley, Emery, Abby, Ella, Amelia and Blair. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday morning from 10:30 until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:30. A Reception will follow immediately in O'Neill Hall, Elgin. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
