Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday December 23, 2017. Howard Martin of Chaffey's Lock, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Irene Martin. Dear father of Nancy Martin (David Boucher) of Ottawa, Wayne Martin (Nancy McCormick) of Brampton and Lynda Martin (Tim Brooks) of Woodlawn. Cherished by his niece, Marion Martin. Dear brother of June Martin of Ottawa and Allan Martin of B.C. Predeceased by sister; Evelyn Cotton and by brothers; Lloyd, George and Jack Martin. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Keri, Jessica and Kyle. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday from 5-8. Memorial Service in Elgin United Church on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Inurnment Opinicon Cemetery in the Spring. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Elgin United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
